I got these pictures from my mom and thought it was so cute that my nephew had rearranged the nativity to make it so that "Everybody was looking at Jesus."

I told my mom she should have left it that way because it's like the epitome of what Christmas should be about. We all should be looking at Jesus. I love the innocence of children and how the Christmas spirit is so easy for them. I love when I reach the point each year that I finally catch onto that spirit. Some years it takes me longer than others to allow it to penetrate and change me. But I love the feeling when it finally does and my focus becomes different; becomes better. Hopefully my actions reflect it as well.
This video clip really touched me because it illustrates how things often come full circle and though we may be unaware of all the repercussions of our actions, it doesn't change the reality that we all can and do produce an impact on those around us. If you get the chance, I recommend watching this through the end.
I recently heard a story of how some elementary school children were putting on their Christmas program and were singing a song called "Christmas Love." At various points in the song, the children on the front row would hold up one of the the letters to spell the song title. When it got to the girl holding the letter 'm' she accidentally held it upside down so it looked like a 'w'. People snickered at first, but by the time the rest of the letters were up, the sentence read "Christ was Love." For another really cute video, about the Christmas Spirit, click here.
I hope you've all caught the Christmas Spirit already this year and if not, it's not too late! It's our choice. As the third verse of O Little Town of Bethlehem states:
"How silently, how silently, the wondrous Gift is giv’n;
So God imparts to human hearts the blessings of His Heav’n.
No ear may hear His coming, but in this world of sin,
Where meek souls will receive Him still, the dear Christ enters in."
So God imparts to human hearts the blessings of His Heav’n.
No ear may hear His coming, but in this world of sin,
Where meek souls will receive Him still, the dear Christ enters in."
